Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall named Royal patron of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall has been announced as Royal patron of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, following her work with the charity since 2010.

Today (February 1) she visited the charity's Old Windsor centre in Berkshire, alongside fellow ambassadors David Gandy, Dame Jacqueline Wilson and Amanda Holden, and Battersea Dogs & Cats Home's Chief Executive Claire Horton commented 'Battersea has long considered the Duchess of Cornwall to be a very close and dear friend and a huge supporter of our work, so it's absolutely wonderful to now welcome Her Royal Highness as our new Royal patron'.
